The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) verifies the energy use and internal volume of refrigerators, combination refrigerator-freezers and freezers.

Since 1967, we've used outside labs to test products, and today you'll find the AHAM Mark on a variety of appliances. Refrigerators, combination refrigerator-freezers and freezers that are part of the AHAM Verification program bare an AHAM Mark on the serial plate located inside the appliance. You may use this online searchable directory to locate a model that is right for you.
